Upplands Ballongflyg - What we offer

Our balloon flights are in the evening and we meet about 3,5 hours before sunset. Total time of activity is 4,5 hours.

This is included;

• Approximately 60 min of flight

All pilots are certified and with many years of experience.

We also offer exclusive flight, a private flight for 2-5 passengers, together with the pilot. In this package we change the sparkling wine to real Champagne and adds some Swedish strawberries to enjoy after the flight. Pickup and return can be arranged to your hotel in Stockholm or Stockholm's suburbs.

The same day as the flight, you get a text message with information regarding the weather and whether the flight will happen or not. Balloons are very sensitive to thunderstorms and heavy wind so the flight will be cancelled if there is a risk of these conditions.

If you get the text and it says that you are in the clear weather-wise, you can travel to the meeting point which is at Rättarvägen 1, right next to Solna Station. This is not the take-off site and we will return there afterward, so if you need to you can park your car in the area.

When everyone has arrived, we travel to the starting place and bring out the balloon and unfold it together. After that, the pilot will hold a safety briefing and inform about the risks and rules during the flight, after which the pilot will fill the balloon with air.

When the balloon has ascended, the height will vary somewhere between 100 and 500 meters, sometimes lower or higher, but roughly that height. After we ascend, the tour lasts about one hour, after which we start our descent.

After we have landed, we pack up and have a small picnic together. You will also receive a diploma as a keepsake. After the picnic, we travel together back to the meeting point in our mini bus.

We offer group hot air balloon tours for 7 up to 31 people. Our balloons hold maximum 5, 10, and 16 people, a group can be in a private balloon or together with our other customers, as you prefer.
